Motor Parts Direct opened its first branch in Kettering in 2000. Thirteen years on and MPD have gone from strength to strength, with new branch openings and acquisitions. Supplying quality car parts to the Independent Garage industry.

 2013 Update

• Acquistion of Kevin Cooper Motor Factor Ltd: Fifteen Branches in the South West (Devon & Cornwall) this will take Motor Parts Direct to sixty branches in their network.
  
• Acquisition of Interpart Distribution Ltd Folkestone: One branch December 2012
• Acquisition of CAT Components: Two Branches Hastings and Tunbridge Wells November 2012
• Now open in Fakenham (Norfolk) November 2012
• Now open in Saffron Walden 1st October 2012
• New branch open in Carterton in Oxfordshire on 1st February 2012
• New branch open in Beccles in Suffolk 2nd January 2012

We are able to offer our staff training which goes towards a NVQ qualification. Since 2008 we have 147 staff achieved a NVQ qualification.

Due of the size of Motor Parts Direct, we are able to supply leading brands to the Motor Trade at completive prices.

Our Suppliers either supply to the orignal motor manufactures, or their product meet or exceed the original equipment specifications.

We have just added a 20,0000 sq ft Distribution centre at Maidenhead, this will enable Motor Parts Direct to replenish the branches stock, making our availability one of the best in the industry. Maidenhead is also strategically placed to help Motor Parts Direct expand their Branch network. And more importantly we will be able to bulk buy products direct from Europe and pass the savings onto our customers.

We pride ourselves on our customer service. Our experienced staff are always willing to help customers with their day to day parts requirements. Our up to date computer system enables us to quickly identify parts from the vehicle registration, quickly and efficiently ensuring our customers complete the work and keep their customers happy.
