Motor Parts Direct Ltd supplies automotive parts to consumers in the UK for personal use only. Our website operates on a business-to-consumer (B2C) basis.

All orders placed via our website are fulfilled on a Click & Collect basis only.

2. Orders and Contract

• All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

• A contract is formed when we confirm your order and notify you that your items are ready for collection.

• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order prior to collection.

3. Prices and Payment

• All prices are displayed in GBP and include VAT unless stated otherwise.

• Prices shown at the time of ordering apply.

• Payment must be made in full at checkout before collection.

• We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors before confirming your order.

4. Click & Collect

4.1 Collection process

• Orders must be collected from the location selected at checkout.

• You will be notified when your order is ready for collection.

• Proof of order (and photographic ID where requested) may be required at collection.

4.2 Collection timeframe

• Orders must be collected within the timeframe stated in your order confirmation.

• If an order is not collected within a reasonable period, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a refund.

4.3 Risk

• Responsibility for the goods passes to you once the goods have been collected.

5. Alternative Products

If an ordered item is unavailable, we may supply an alternative brand or product of equal or better quality that meets the same specification.

6. Returns & Cancellation Rights

6.1 Your right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of collecting your goods, for any reason.

To exercise this right, you must inform us clearly by email or other written communication.

6.2 Returns

• Items must be returned unused, complete, and in a resaleable condition.

• Returns must be made to the original collection location unless otherwise agreed.

• You are responsible for returning the goods unless they are faulty or incorrect.

6.3 Refunds

• Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence of return.

• Refunds will be made using the original payment method.

7. Faulty or Incorrect Goods

If goods are faulty, damaged, or not as described:

• You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015

• Please notify us as soon as possible so we can resolve the issue efficiently

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

8. Old Unit Surcharge

Some products are subject to a refundable old unit surcharge:

• The surcharge will be refunded once the old unit is returned

• Returned units must be complete and free from damage caused during removal

• Full details will be provided on your invoice or at point of sale

• Supplied parts may differ slightly in appearance

• All products will meet the required specifications for their intended use

10. Liability

• We are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable

• We do not accept liability for business losses, loss of profits, or loss of opportunity
